GUEST TODAY.
FRIEND WHEN YOU LEAVE.

Originally loved by locals, our teppanyaki restaurant has grown naturally over time and now welcomes guests from around the world.

We are a husband-and-wife owner-chef team, cooking with care, quality ingredients, and a genuine wish to share a warm “wow” moment at the table.

Our restaurant is best suited for those who are comfortable spending around ¥5,000 per person and who enjoy relaxed, home-like dining — sharing good food and unhurried time with people they truly care about, rather than seeking formality or spectacle.

Even if it is your first visit, we hope you will feel at ease, as if you are sharing a meal in a place you have known for a long time.

We have always lived and worked as we are — open, cheerful, and natural.

Rather than trying to impress, we value sincere hospitality and honest cooking. Perhaps that is why many of our guests return again and again, from different parts of the world.

Some first visited us while engaged, later returned on their honeymoon, and eventually came back with their children. Others introduce us to their family members and close friends — people who matter most to them.

When we opened in 1998, we never imagined that nearly 30 years later our restaurant would become part of so many life stories. We feel deeply grateful every day for the wonderful people who have walked through our door.

Our restaurant has been shaped little by little by each guest we have met.

From time to time, we are asked to accommodate individual dietary needs. We have never set out to create special menus — we simply respond as best we can to the person sitting in front of us.

By continuing to focus on each guest, one at a time, these small efforts quietly spread beyond our awareness. Even today, we often learn through others that our restaurant has become known somewhere we never expected.

We may not be experts in trends or technology, but what has always mattered to us is the person at the table.

In that way, our restaurant continues to be created together with the people who visit us — and every guest is an important part of our story.

We simply hope the time you share at our table becomes a warm, memorable part of your own story.

This philosophy is also reflected in the food we serve.

What kind of food do guests come here to enjoy?

Most guests choose one of our two set menus,

both of which include A5 Japanese Wagyu sirloin steak.

These sets bring together Japanese dishes that feel comforting and memorable —

the kind of food you would want to tell your family and friends about

after returning home from Japan.

Rather than being designed as a show or a trend,

each set has been shaped naturally over time,

by combining dishes that our guests have loved and continued to order

at our table here in Kyoto.

We welcome couples, families, and friends

who cherish conversation and the simple joy of being fully present together at the table

— sharing food and meaningful time.

We look forward to welcoming you in Kyoto.
