For nearly 30 years in Gion, Kyoto,
we have run this small, cozy teppanyaki restaurant,
building our business on a foundation of deep trust with our guests.
For us, “full” does not mean every single chair is occupied.
It means our restaurant is filled with as many smiles
as the two of us can deeply care for in one evening.

Rather than serving a large number of guests,
we hope to create a calm and comfortable evening for everyone sharing the space
—including our guests, ourselves,
and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.

Walk-Ins & Seating
Reservation Only & Locked Door Policy
If you see an empty table nearby,
please know it is a conscious choice,
not "availability."
To focus 100% of our energy and attention on
the guests inside, we lock our front door
during dinner service and do not accept
any walk-ins.

Our restaurant is a very small tavern and is best suited for groups of two.

If you would like to book for a group of 5 or more people, please contact us separately to discuss availability before submitting a request.

We only accept reservations starting exactly ONE WEEK prior to your visit.
Early bookings often lead to unexpected schedule changes.
Since we must turn down other guests once a table is held, please finalize your travel itinerary first and book only when you are completely certain.
How We Book
Fair Review Process
・Not First-Come, First-Served:
Reservation requests are reviewed fairly throughout the day.
Submitting the form immediately after midnight does not guarantee priority.
・High/Low Seasons:
Booking availability varies greatly depending on
the season (e.g., peak tourist seasons vs. quieter months).
・Alternative Times:
Due to our very limited seating, we may not be able to accommodate your exact preferred time if requests overlap.

Arrival Time & Late Policy
• Staggered Seating: To ensure our two-person kitchen can keep up, arrival times may be slightly spaced out.
• Do Not Be Late: Our cooking schedule is planned minute by minute. If you are late, it disrupts the entire kitchen and affects other guests.
Late arrivals may result in cancellation or adjustment of your reservation.

Group Changes
Change in Party Size
Please inform us of any changes in the number of guests as early as possible.
Please understand that same-day changes are very difficult to accommodate.
Our Policy Regarding Vegetarian Pescatarian Groups
We are a Teppanyaki restaurant that primarily features and serves Wagyu beef.
Ten years ago, there were very few vegetarian-friendly establishments in Kyoto, and many vegetarian travelers were struggling to find places to eat.
We introduced our vegetarian menu items at that time out of a genuine desire to temporarily support those guests during their stay.
However, our restaurant is fundamentally operated on the premise that our guests will enjoy our meat dishes, such as Wagyu.
Therefore, we strictly do not accept reservations for groups consisting entirely of vegetarian or pescatarian guests.
As there are now many specialized vegetarian restaurants operating in Kyoto, we highly recommend utilizing those establishments for your dining needs.
Please note: If only one member of your group is a vegetarian or pescatarian, we may be able to accommodate you depending on seat availability. Please contact us in advance to discuss your request.
Budget Guideline
Minimum Spend of ¥5,000 per Person
Since our nightly capacity is very limited,
our restaurant is best suited for guests comfortable spending around ¥5,000 or more per person
(including children).
Our premium A5 Wagyu sirloin steak easily meets
this guideline.
We also offer a shared set menu including
the A5 Wagyu sirloin steak
starting from ¥3,700 (excl. tax) per person.
